In one word 'Perfection'!

What a find! These apartments are superb and exceeded our expectations. They are situated in a quiet location not far from Gent centre. Our apartment was beautifully decorated and contained everything you require. Above all the hosts, Sandra and Walter, were overwhelming in their welcome and concern for every aspect of our stay. They gave us some good pointers and suggestions (including local restaurants and cafes) for Gent and the surrounding area. The breakfast baskets which were supplied as required were varied and substantial. We cannot recommend these apartments highly enough and we are champing at the bit to return! Very many thanks Sandra and Walter for making our stay so memorable.

Welcoming, organised and super clean

Welcoming, organised and super clean ! We would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a relaxing break. The option to walk into the neighbouring wilderness of the National Reserve and the easy 10m regular bus route into the beautiful city centre made for a wonderful visit of Gent. The rooms were extremely clean and minimalist with wonderful insulation to block out any noise. The private patio was also wonderful touch with the birds chirping away. For those worried about the open bathroom layout... You need not worry as a clever sliding door provides the privacy in an instance. Thank you to the owners of B&B Marcel de Grand, you were wonderful and we will be coming back again! 🙂
